Looking for a Few Good People

Computer science never stands still and neither can any top ranked department. And so we must grow and adapt and continue to find new faculty members to take us to new heights in the field.

We have posted our faculty searches for next year. While we'll consider any field, our main focus is on expanding our systems group. I'll be at the SOSP conference next week searching for the next great faculty members for the School of Computer Science. Deadline for full consideration is December 9. 

We have one other search, an academic professional, a non-research faculty position who will work with graduate students and help direct the graduate programs in the school. Deadline is November 22.

I look forward to our recruiting season and charting the future of SCS.
